Will You Heed The “Call of Duty?”

Call of Duty is a stunningly popular series of computer and console video games. These action/first-person shooter titles began with the original Call of Duty title in 2003, and have subsequently launched innumerable expansions and sequels in multiple formats. With the exception of just two offerings, the Call of Duty games all focus on the World War II era of history and simulate real-life historical events. The most recent Call of Duty Game, Call of Duty: World at War came out in June for all the major formats: PC, Xbox360, PS3, and Nintendo Wii. Now, fans of this series have one more way to experience the adrenaline rush of the war simulator – an online slot game.

The Call of Duty slot machine title comes from Cryptologic, a major Canadian online casino software designer. It debuted at Intercasino, Cryptologic’s flagship online casino gambling site on the World Wide Web, and was based on the Call of Duty 4 title. Call of Duty, the online slot, is a five-reel, twenty-five payline title with plenty of bonuses and great action reminiscent of the video game. In the bonus round, which echoes the video game, you must shoot down as many enemy aircrafts as possible in the time allotted to win bonus cash. Random explosions take place on the reels to change up the symbols and reveal bonus multipliers that can really amp up your winnings and enjoyment of this military-themed online slot.

The slot game is actually based on one of the Call of Duty titles that did not take place during the Second World War. Called “Modern Warcraft,” the game moved the action into a latter-day setting.
