Slot Review: Dick Danger
If you have
previously enjoyed the gumshoe exploits of a certain yellow-coated
private investigator, then we bet you’d enjoy an introduction to
Dick Danger. This “private eyeball” – no, we mean that totally
literally – has a pretty silly name, but takes his work very
seriously. The giant orb wears a trench coat and hat in the style of
a 1940s stereotype, and solves crimes. If it all sounds pretty
silly, that’s because it really is. On the other hand, the silliness
doesn’t detract from some great gameplay and the chance to win a
good amount of cash!
Dick Danger is a five-reel, nine-payline online slot machine title
from our favorite casino software manufacturer, Microgaming. Coin
values range from one cent to five bucks, with max coins set at
nine, or a single coin playable per payline. You can bet up to
forty-five bucks per spin, which is quite reasonable. The jackpot is
a generous one at five thousand coins, or twenty-five thousand
dollars on a maxed-out spin.
The symbols on the reels center around solving crime and sniffing
out perps: a camera, handcuffs, and the “Top Secret!” message. Dick
himself is a playable symbol on the reels, as is the raven-haired
femme fatale. Crime boss “Fish Face” is also pictured, and stands in
as the jackpot symbol for this online slot title. Get five to win
that big prize. The Private Eyeball is wild, and the Scatter Logo is
the scatter symbol. There is a bonus game you can activate when you
are lucky enough to get the Eyeball on the third, fourth, and fifth
reel simultaneously. Pull up the shades in the window to reveal
pictures of suspects until you find three pictures that match. If
your suspect is the one revealed as the evildoer, you win a prize
for catching the baddie! With this kind of cash, you could hire a PI
of your own, if needed!
